The Schwinn RS five.0 Road Bicycle (700c Wheels) is a must-have for the road cyclist. This is designed for men and guarantees a smooth ride. It comes nicely equipped with an aluminum front triangle frame with a carbon rear triangle and carbon fork. A Shimano Sora 14-speed drive train with 7-speed Sora STI shifters provides positive shifts and no slips. Stopping power comes from the ProMax dual pivot caliper brakes, giving you the confidence to aggressively tackle the road.
review:
The bicycle frame is excellent (aluminum/carbon fiber forks) but the shifting componenets are not lovely at all, causing most of the issues... in the event you are thinking of having a lovely first rate frame but are thinking -or would like to- upgrade the saddle, shifting parts (cassette, chainrings (here is where I have had most of the issues since the material they are made of is tremendous flexible and will bend 'cause it feels like it, making the chain slip out of it, this happens on 40% of my rides) and front derailleur, etc) and perhaps even the handlebar.
I have had plenty of fun with this bicycle, I crushed head onto a Benz SUV that cut me off and stoped suddenly and the front wheel did not budge anything and taking in to consideration that I was one time going at least about twenty miles per hour I can honestly say I was one time over expecting the wheel to get damaged (to bend like an 8). take care of replacing the chainrings for something lovely and you'll be riding in peace.
It looks lovely, and its light , the carbon fork and back part makes the ride smooth . It had a couple of things that needed to get replaced like the front tube that had a large hole before I touch the street and the plastic safety piece that is between the cassette and spokes that was moving and making a loud noise when riding. After those things were replaced I have had no other issues bud no miles yet either to be able to recommend it to everyone
This is a clone under a different name at wallmart the cf1000 they painted a few things and changed the colors but bikes are identicle but 499.00 at wallmart.
