It is comfortable, simple to shift, light, and has excellent parts. The front wheel is also simple to remove and re-install. Since I haven't done any actual riding, I am not prepared for clips yet, so the 'caged' pedals are a pleasant way to gently introduce me to both the motion AND to having my feet locked in. And, I could start riding right away and didn't need to buy additional equipment along with the bicycle.It is also so cute.
With a bunch of minor alteration tweaks, a brand new saddle and clipless pedals it fits great. The granny gears on this thing are awesome. The only down sides are the weight (it is heavy) and the so-so parts but for the cost you cannot ask for more.
This frame is as nice for a woman's build with the length and slope of the top tube. Replaced the pedals with ones for QR cleats and replaced the saddle but otherwise the bicycle was near ideal.
