The cost was reasonable, no desire to spend an obscene amount of money if I don't must, this bicycle has proven itself to be a VERY lovely choice. The performance wanted out of a road bicycle and well within my cost range.

GT may have gotten its start in BMX racing but their road bikes are criminally fast . which means that they cost a lot less than their top of the line racers. Based on the GT bikes that I have reviewed, all of their bicycle lines are high quality so you can save some money on this "series".
Depending on where you live, it may be hard to find all of the different Series models, to review, at bicycle shops but you can usually discover a lovely choice of these bikes online (although not all online merchants will carryover all of the Series levels).
GT Series models (reasonable priced aluminum frame, carbon fork racing bikes) have the most price/component levels.

The GT Series road bikes are great entry level aluminum and carbon road and racing bikes at excellent prices. They are light weight and the high quality parts work well.

I was actually looking for some negative comments in the net reviews and could not find any relevant "Cons" on this bicycle. It is rated highly by customers and few have any complaints.
Definitely a lovely choice for an entry level or recreational level racing bicycle.
